Working with London Wildlife Trust to improve biodiversity on our Hendon campus

03/02/2017

We are lucky to have such a lot of green space in this urban environment, but there’s more we can do to improve biodiversity across campus.  London Wildlife Trust www.wildlondon.org.uk have set up some activity sessions for student and staff volunteers to learn more about our biodiversity plan and get stuck in with planting, creating wood piles and making improvements across the campus.

The first session will be on Wednesday 15 February from 1pm where we will be transforming the area behind the Grove Building. If you can spare some time and want to learn from the London Wildlife Trust experts, book your place on MDXSU website or contact sustainability@mdx.ac.uk There will be hot and cold drinks for everyone who helps out.

More activity sessions are planned for Wednesday 22 February and Wednesday 1 March, and in April we plan to revitalise the Church Farm House Pond.  For more information contact sustainability@mdx.ac.uk
