    Planned IT Maintenance Works


    During the spring and summer of 2016 Middlesex University will be working to update various computer systems to improve the flexibility and performance of the University’s online student services.

    The following benefits will result from this work:

    • Improved hardware and cloud managed services
    • Improved 24 hour monitoring of systems and responses to technical issues
    • Less disruption time when technical issues occur.
    • More time available for staff to research new systems which can improve  the student experience

    However, in order for us to introduce these improvements there will obviously be some short term disruption to our existing services. We will work hard to ensure this disruption is kept to a minimum and will keep you updated as this work takes place.

    There will be two periods of time when this disruption to services will take place.

    March and April 2016

    June and July 2016

    This work is taking place in two stages to avoid disruption during the May exam period.

    Further information about any disruption during the above months will be displayed in the announcements panel on UniHub, in myUniHub, on social media and on screens around the Hendon campus.
