University is not just about your studies. It's also about having new experiences and meeting people from all over the world.
There are so many ways to make friends at Middlesex but here are just a few of our favourites.
We have a variety of welcome events and activities prepared for you to help you settle in, meet people, and explore over the first few weeks of term.
If you haven't yet, watch some of the talks and webinars that took place as part of our Ready for Anything initiative:
Are you ready to start your studies and have you ticked off everything on the Welcome checklist?
Why not also check out our Quad plus - a virtual look around our Quad, the main hub and reception to campus. Here you can also book events, ask students questions and find out more about our support services.
Your Students’ Union (MDXSU) exists to support you, represent you, and help you to make the most of your time at university.
MDXSU have over 100 student groups and societies, from cultural and religious groups to academic and general interest. You’re bound to meet like-minded people, develop your skills and be a part of a community on or off campus. Join as many societies as you like or start your own.
While the MDXSU offices are currently closed, the team have made every provision to ensure your voice is still heard on the issues you care about.
Make sure to join the MDX COVID-Community for information, events and activities.
Our Liberation Groups are for students who often face discrimination and under-representation at university and in wider society. These groups help students to share their experiences, advocate for change and find their supportive networks on campus.
Currently, there are four Liberation Groups:
Social distancing does not have to mean ‘less social’.
#TeamMDX is a positive and supportive community where we look out for each other and we want to ensure you feel that energy virtually too. Whether you want to socialise, network or learn something new, there’s always something happening. Check out our upcoming events.
You can also join our MDX Freshers group to make new friends even before you start your classes.
